Over the past year I’ve been deliberately making the best low mold I have ever used. This began as a scaled down skateboard but I made a ton of small adjustments to perform better without detracting from the original skateboard look. From top down I also scaled down the kicks of a skateboard in every size, then I modified the length proportions slightly to function right. Skateboard kicks are way too long for a fingerboard since our trucks have totally different geometry. If you like to fingerboard in a way that mimics skateboarding then this mold will have you straight up addicted.
I always had an issue with low decks- they’re super satisfying visually and look awesome on camera but they aren’t fun to use. In fact most low molds take so much effort and repetition to do the simplest tricks it makes you want to just pull out a high mold. That was the case until this mold- it will have you completely confused. It’s low but the kicks hug your fingers in a certain way that flips the deck harder than higher molds. The concave is low too but you can still feel it centering your fingers in the center. The concave is also deceivingly responsive for tre flips acting like a lever that comes up harder at the edge where you need it, otherwise it looks just as flat as an actual skateboard.
